It’s been a bit quiet around here as I have been rather busy and didn’t get much opportunity to shoot pictures. Fortunately however, I do astrophotography as well and as soon as there is a clear sky, I’ll get the telescope and spend the night outdoors shooting deep sky objects.
I’ve always wanted to shoot the Horsehead Nebula in the constellation of Orion, but had to wait for winter to arrive so it would become visible during the night – and a cloudless sky at the same time, which has been a rare sight over the past couple of weeks.
2 days ago I finally got the chance to shoot it – and I did take a picture. This is it. I like it very much and I hope you’ll like it, too!
