My name is Thorsten Westheider. I’m a photographer.
The word “photography” comes from greek φωτός (phōtos, “light”) and γραφή (graphé, “drawing”), so photography is the mastery of drawing with light. In that sense a photographer is an artist without a brush, forever seeking the perfect light to draw their picture.
I’m a landscape photographer at heart, but frequently foray into different types of photography, such as deep sky photography and portrait photography.
